The Atlantic Rowing Race, known as the World’s Toughest Row – Atlantic, is a premier ocean rowing event that challenges participants to row across the Atlantic Ocean. Starting from San Sebastián de La Gomera in the Canary Islands, teams embark on a 3,000-mile journey to Nelson’s Dockyard in Antigua. This race tests the limits of endurance, requiring rowers to face extreme conditions, including vast ocean swells, sleep deprivation, and physical exhaustion. Participants, ranging from solo adventurers to teams, row continuously in shifts, aiming to complete the crossing in 30 to 90 days. The event is not only a testament to human resilience but also a platform for raising awareness and funds for various charitable causes.
